Site Preparation – Help Us Help You
Proper site preparation is critical to ensuring the safety and effectiveness of a treatment and will help avoid return visits and follow-up treatments. Site preparation requirements will vary depending on the type of pest infestation but the following outlines typical steps to take in advance of a treatment.
- Remove any clutter to ensure our pest professionals can easily access areas that need to be treated.
- Clean floors, vacuum rugs and wipe down baseboards. Note: In the event that insects and / or their eggs have been vacuumed, take the vacuum cleaner outside, remove and seal the bag and place in the garbage to avoid spreading pests to other areas of your home.
- Eliminate food sources for pests, cover and store any food on counters.
- Cover / store toys, cribs, aquariums.
